What is Copters for a Cause?

Copters for a Cause is a non-profit organization based out of Denver, Colorado. We are a group of helicopter pilots and helicopter enthusiast who want to share this incredible experience for great causes. Copters for a Cause is a supporting organization. We are here to help raise money for non-profits and individuals with a mission to help. Our services are not limited to any one goal or cause. We hope to help as many different charities as possible.

How We Can Make Money for Your Charity:

Copters for a Cause will bring a helicopter to your charitable event. We then sell helicopter rides to your attendees. Copters for a Cause donates the money raised through the sale of the rides back to your charity. All of this is done at ZERO cost to you and your organization. Copters for a Cause attempts to cover the cost of the helicopter and fuel through donations and fund raising of our own. If we are unable to completely cover the cost we simply keep a small portion of each ride sold. Copters for a Cause is able to raise a minimum of $400.00 per hour for your charity with the average being $800.00 per hour that the helicopter flies. It is common for us to raise $1500-$2500 at medium size events for the charity or individuals hosting the event. We have also raised money through donations of helicopter flights for silent auctions, golf ball drops, and other tour options outside of your charity events. While these are not our primary mission we would be happy to discuss options for your organization.

StandardAero Kicks off its Centennial Year at HELI EXPO

Complements Celebration with Donation to Copters For A Cause

StandardAero would like to invite you to join in its 100 Year Anniversary Celebration of the company’s founding in 1911. The celebration, held as part of its participation at this year’s HELI EXPO, will take place on March 7, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla., booth 1928.

As part of the celebration event, StandardAero will be presenting Copters For A Cause with a check recognizing the support they provide to the community through the unique gift of flight. During the event, guests will be treated to “birthday cake” recognizing the company’s 100 years of dedicated service and support to the aviation industry.

Tom Roche, StandardAero’s Vice President, Helicopters, will be presenting the corporate gift and will be available for interviews and questions following the activity.

Copters for a Cause will be at Heli-Expo this weekend in Orlando, Florida. We will be recieving a donation from Standard Aero as part of thier 100th anaversary celebration. The presentation will be Monday the 7th at 1:30pm at the Standard Aero booth. We look forward to seeing everyone there!
